A security guard at Crocus City Hall filed a police statement, accusing pop star Philip Kirkorov of causing minor injuries during a recent incident. Telegram channels have been reporting on the event, with one outlet noting that the guard requested legal action over the alleged harm.
According to the report, Kirkorov was attempting to reach backstage with a group of five people during a performance by Ani Lorak when venue security asked for clearance before letting the group through. The singer allegedly pushed past the guard, resulting in Kirkorov continuing toward the backstage area while the guard allegedly lost balance and fell from the stage. The guard reportedly sustained a sprained right ankle and received medical evaluation after the incident.
The episode is described as occurring several months ago. Since then, the guard has sought counsel from attorney Sergei Vasiliev and has been engaging with activists from the Forty-Forties movement in seeking support for the case.
On December 23, the Mash Telegram channel reported a new development: Vitaly Borodin, a social activist, suggested revoking the title of People’s Artist of Russia from Kirkorov. Borodin tied the proposal to Kirkorov’s potential involvement with the political party associated with blogger Nastya Ivleeva, asserting that a recent appearance by the singer near a high-profile figure had been connected to a promised event tied to Ivleeva.
Earlier reports described a separate incident at the Moscow Art Theatre Gorky where a corporate party featuring Kirkorov was canceled following a party described as explicit in nature. These parallel stories have kept the spotlight on Kirkorov and his public engagements, drawing varied reactions from fans, critics, and political observers alike.
