In the middle of the twelfth Guitar Cycle, the chamber room at the ADDA hosts a recital by Alicante-born guitarist Ignacio Rodes this Friday, March 22, at 8:00 PM.
A virtuoso of classical guitar, Rodes is distinguished by his flawless technique and profound expressiveness. A student of José Tomás, his ability to convey emotion through the strings places him among the leading figures in the international music scene. International critique and numerous accolades, including prizes named after Francisco Tárrega, Andrés Segovia, and José Ramírez, among others, mark him as one of the finest guitarists and educators of his generation.
For the evening performance, he will present a program featuring works by De Visée, Bach, Esquembre, Bautista, Bacarisse, and Turina.
