Hulu has released a teaser for the upcoming eighth season of the satirical sci‑fi series Futurama, signaling a return to screens after a decade with a premiere date set for July 24, 2023. The trailer is brief, lasting only 17 seconds, and features a single line: “Oh yes baby!”
Curiously, online listings have labeled this continuation as the 11th season, even though production codes for the new episodes begin with the number eight. The project brings back Futurama creators Matt Groening and David Samuel Cohen, along with the original voice cast headlined by Billy West, Katey Sagal, and John DiMaggio.
Season 8, which some sources refer to as 11, will total 20 episodes. Only the first 10 episodes are scheduled to premiere in July, with the release date for the second half not yet announced.
