Campus improvements

This summer, the festival introduces enhancements to stage setups across all venues. Three separate stages spread more than 50 meters from the main stage, along with a sizable VIP area and cutting-edge sound and lighting technology. Strict access controls, real-time capacity monitoring, and measures to reduce queues have been implemented. These improvements are possible thanks to extra staff, with roughly one employee for every 25 attendees, and the organizers’ ongoing commitment to innovating the festival experience [Source: Organizers].

To boost security, the event employs advanced technologies, including nighttime lighting and facial recognition, to help ensure a safe and relaxed experience for all attendees. In addition to concerts, there are several complementary activities planned.

The daytime festival schedule accommodates neighbors and is designed to be family-friendly. Activities include water fun, batucadas and parades, dance lessons, Zumba, and self-defense classes. Rest areas, a large pool, and food trucks offering diverse culinary options are available, along with beauty workshops, makeup and hair services, and a market featuring small local businesses. This combination has helped position the festival as one of the most beloved and respected events in the country since its inception.

As Europe’s premier urban music event, the festival is expected to draw up to 600,000 attendees in a year when Spain’s top-selling music festival reaches peak popularity. It is also a popular venue for cultural subsidies, with many young festival-goers choosing to use these supporting funds.
