It first emerged in the late 1980s, marking the beginnings of a couture journey that would carry Hannibal Laguna’s signature romance and grace across borders. WhiteBloom is the name of the new collection, a fusion of the house’s historical silhouettes with designs inspired by the eight Canary Islands. The collection features sculptural shapes and clean lines for today’s modern brides, with voluminous fabrics such as crepe moving in graceful ease. For the more romantic sensibility, generous volumes are crafted in ethereal organza and soft silk tulle, creating a timeless, airy mood.

Standout elements include stylized collars with mother-of-pearl accents, sculpted embellishments with crystal cords, and carefully placed floral embroidery. The decorations, a distinctive hallmark of the brand, appear in bold scales and embossed textures for dramatic impact.

Inspiration draws from a garden dreamscape, raffia blooms, translucent leaves, painted flora, and abstract motifs echoing Canarian flora such as Mayflower, Yerbamuda, Teide violet, and Piñamar. White, pearlescent, and silver brushstrokes frame a color palette rich in natural, bright hues that echo the islands’ light and landscape.

Dresses described as dreams are crafted by a dedicated team under the direction of Isabel Angulo, co-founder and director, who collaborates with the creative leadership to imprint the house’s sophisticated and elegant style in every collection. The result is a line of creations recognized as authentic jewelry in fabric form, a reference point in contemporary Spanish fashion history.
