The family confirmed that the 92-year-old is steadily regaining strength in brief intervals following a stroke and subsequent surgery, yet there has been no overall change in his condition at this time.
According to Krasko’s son, his father was granted permission to be placed in intensive care because he had been addressing the medical team by name as staff members approached. The artist’s assistant, Daria Pashkova, arrived near the bedside during this moment, and the family notes that Krasko often greets familiar people with recognition during these visits.
Fyodor Krasko described the atmosphere around the room, saying that Pashkova was near and interacted with the patient, though she faced difficulty in feeding her own needs. There were attempts to ensure she consumed meals, and progress appeared to be gradual. In the meantime, clinicians advised the family that Krasko should not stay the night, suggesting he return home for rest. Nevertheless, he remained intermittently conscious and even managed to laugh on occasion, providing a small sense of reassurance amid the challenging circumstances.
