Evgeniy Egorov, known for the Unofficial YouTube channel with 1.42 million subscribers, was detained after a complaint from Ekaterina Mizulina, the head of the Safe Internet League, according to a Telegram channel called Baza.
Sources linked to the channel reported that a lawsuit has been filed against the 23-year-old blogger from Petrozavodsk for an article alleging indecent assault. Investigators say the blogger posted videos on YouTube and Telegram that included scenes of violence and non traditional sexual activity.
Investigators also say Egorov engaged in chats with minors, with one alleged victim aged 10. It is claimed that he requested the boys to record obscene videos for him.
Egorov faces a prison term ranging from five to twelve years.
There have been multiple reports from readers about the Unofficial blogger who is accused of stalking schoolgirls on social networks and showing pedophilia tendencies. Mizulina noted that the Investigative Committee was contacted about this matter at the start of February.
On a related note, a singer and blogger named Prophet Sunboy was detained during a concert. Previously, Orbakaite declined to answer questions about Pugacheva.
According to officials familiar with the case, the investigation continues and prosecutors consider all aspects of the allegations to determine the appropriate charges and potential penalties based on the available evidence.
