Opera Don Giovanni from Mozart is set to arrive at the Alicante Theater Manager this Thursday. The company, based in Alicante, brought this grand opera to life in 2001 during a European tour that visited forty cities across Spain and France.
The soloists are of international standing, including members of the Sicilian Lyric Choir and a full symphony orchestra. Opera 2001 joins forces with musicians from the Valencian Community for this performance, which blends lighthearted drama with Mozartian music around the legend of Don Juan. The show is scheduled for Thursday at 20:30 and features a musical production at the Alicante theater directed by Martin Mazik, with stage direction by Matteo Peirone and Gualtiero Ristori, and artistic leadership by Luis Miguel Lainz. The run lasts about 150 minutes, and ticket prices are 26, 36, and 48 euros.
Don Giovanni, often called the opera of operas, is a cornerstone of the operatic repertoire. The work presents the life of a young seducer, a plot driven by pursuit and consequence, and it is anchored by Mozart’s unforgettable melodies that have kept audiences engaged for centuries.
