David Trueba Leads New Documentary Series on Spanish Royalty and Power

David Trueba, a filmmaker, writer, journalist, screenwriter, and actor born in Madrid in 1969, has earned Goya Awards for best direction and best screenplay. He is developing a biography about Eugenio and is producing a documentary on Felipe González. Already connected with producer and journalist Jordi Ferrons, the Lavinia Audiovisual founder is helming the documentary series La sagrada familia focused on the Pujol family. HBO Max is backing the venture. The duo continues their collaboration for the same platform, this time with the project taking the lead role for the audience. Sofia and Real Life, a documentary, opens on Friday the 23rd.
