Meanwhile, several Russian media outlets mistakenly reported the death of actress Barbara Brylska, who portrayed Nadya Sheveleva in The Irony of Fate. She would have turned 83 last summer.

Rylska was born in Krakow on January 20, 1936. She studied at the Warsaw Academy of Dramatic Art and began her career at the Warsaw Comedy Theatre.

In the early 1960s she started appearing in films. Over the years she appeared in titles such as The Restless Niece, The Green Mansion, There Will Be No Divorce, The Tenants, The Ones They Are Looking For and other productions.

She was previously associated with the film The Boy’s Word.
