Alla Pugacheva marks spring with traditional tribute and new music, fans note

On the first Sunday of spring, the iconic Russian singer Alla Pugacheva shared a message on Instagram, extending warm wishes to her fans. The post carried a simple, hopeful sentiment: yellow flowers, peace, and encouragement amid changing days. The note read, “Yellow Flower Festival. Do not give up! Cheer up! May peace come to your home.”

The tradition of marking the early days of March has long followed Pugacheva. In the 1990s, she would walk through central Moscow on this day, handing out yellow flowers to passers-by and then joining her friends to celebrate the start of spring, declaring at the time, “We let spring!”

In a candid interview with StarHit, Baygali Serkebaev recalled a memorable holiday moment involving the artist. He described a gathering where Pugacheva hosted guests with remarkable hospitality, noting the warmth and generosity she showed during the celebration.

During one such holiday, a notable detail emerged from those conversations: Pugacheva prepared a real Uzbek pilaf with lamb for her guests. Serkebaev remembered the dish vividly, praising its authenticity and the way it added a festive, family-like atmosphere to the event.

In more recent news, Pugacheva released a new song after a long hiatus. The artist hinted in interviews that the track reflects a sense of ease and mutual confidence with her partner, describing their dynamic as calmer and more secure than before.

March 1 marked another milestone as Pugacheva released a new album for the first time in sixteen years. The collection, entitled PS, features twenty tracks that were recorded during the artist’s anniversary concert at the Kremlin Palace in 2019, offering fans a retrospective yet fresh listening experience that ties together past performances with new interpretations.

Meanwhile, public attention also touched on Anna Asti, who was reported to have returned to Russia in the wake of recent events, a move that generated media interest and discussion among fans and commentators alike.
