Alicante Main Theatre. Sunday at 18:00. Tickets priced at 12, 18 and 25 euros.

After a successful run of 17 performances at the Matadero in Madrid, Spanish stages tour to Alicante with the show Our Secret Actions. Written and directed by Argentinian Lautaro Perotti for his company Timbre 4, in collaboration with Mamá Floriana SL and Teatro Español, the production features a strong cast led by Carmen Machi, joined by Macarena García and Santi Marín, who previously worked together on the famous TV series Christy and by Los Javis and Santi Marín.

Carmen Machi portrays Azucena in Our Secret Actions, a woman who resists an early diagnosis yet remains active, traveling with her loyal friend Patri to answer her daughter Elena’s call, a performance led by Macarena García. Elena drives a car through the country’s winding backroads to escape after a tragic event. What begins as a desperate escape evolves into a profound encounter as hours pass and strangers become unlikely allies, each with their own burdens and secrets.

The production invites viewers to witness a thoughtful drama about human relationships and the imperative to support one another in unforeseen crises and moments of hardship.

The performance titled Perquè t’esttime, que si no, is captured in a striking production image that accompanies the show.

Alicante Arniches Theatre. Friday at 20:30. Entrance 15 euros.

Teatre Arniches presents this Friday a comedy exploring the erosion caused by time within couple relationships, and questions how genuine love and mutual care endure. The production is led by a Valencian team, featuring Arantxa Cortés, Ramón Rodenas, Cristina García, Jaime Linares, Pilar Martínez and Joan Verdú. In this piece, the ensemble of actors brings to life three couples living in the same apartment, illustrating how shared space reveals deeper connections beyond the walls.

According to its writer and director Carles Alberola, the work serves as a declaration of love to couples who persevere through time, emphasizing respect, generosity, and the renunciation needed when faced with boredom, illness, and forgetfulness. It is presented as almost a utopia.
