The first new production comes from Alcoy-based company La Dependent, which recently premiered a standout show at Sagunt a Escena Juliato before bringing its latest work to Alicante on October 2. Icariaof the Pasqual Alpont, with a cast including Jordi Ballester, Pep Sellés, Gemma Miralles and Pepe Miravete, promises a gripping experience where nothing is as it seems. The second show arrives on October 8 and 9 with Happiness Curve, a humorous exploration of relationships. It uses comedy to illuminate how couples communicate and adapt, showing the challenges of reconnecting and stabilizing a relationship across different life stages. The piece invites audiences to reflect on communication gaps, trust, and the sometimes fragile balance between independence and partnership.
The third offering comes from Bravo Demonstrators, presenting a lively musical titled Super Stuff Live for children. The adventure unfolds in Kaboom City, where Professor K and Mister King collaborate in an animated world built around curiosity and invention. They attend a school known as Clank Corporation, and, within a grand laboratory, they create the so-called “super Things” through a miraculous substance called Kazoom. The show blends music, imagination and interactive elements to captivate younger audiences while conveying themes of teamwork and creativity. The production promises an engaging, family-friendly experience that complements the other two shows in the season’s program.
