Zone, Pyramid, Alpha Decay and sessions yugen left Y mbo DJ will perform at ENSO, the electronic music and production festival celebrating its sixth edition. From 27 to 29 October, the Las Cigarreras cultural center in Alicante hosts the event. The opening and closing headliners have yet to be announced.
These artists appear on the lineup for creators and experts to join the competition. The schedule includes round tables, master classes, performances and rare sessions, all with free access.
By fusing music, art, technology and sound documentation, ENSO is once again organized by the Consorci de Museus de la Generalitat and the Alicante City Council Culture Department. It has become one of the province’s most anticipated cultural happenings, drawing attention to music, experimental art, science and technology for local audiences and visitors alike.

In constant motion and without a fixed form, the region project by composer and producer Oliver Arson explores links between experimental instrumentation, electronic processes and strong storytelling.
His discography includes Alice (Humo, 2018), co-produced with Oscar Mulero and Tasio, and Mandorle (E/C, 2012), with Abel Hernández. Festivals such as Sonar, Impetus, Roadburn and WOS have featured his work, with standout venues like the Laboral church in Gijón, the old arms factory in Oviedo, and Nave 16 in Matadero Madrid. He also created the installation Confess (2016, Insonora), based on the ritual of confession, and collaborated with Irene Cantero’s contemporary dance troupe, a regular collaborator. Region.
Oliver Arson works as a composer for film soundtracks and landscape projects. In his practice he freely pursues experimental interests. As a composer, he has created music for Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s films. God Forgives Us, Mom and Kingdom won him a second Goya Award for Best Original Music in 2019. He also scored the series himself. Area and riot gear are part of Sorogoyen’s projects, and he founded the avant-garde label E/C.
Pyramid¬Luca Volkov + Mupi IchbinMupi
The Huelva-Granada trio blends refined electronics with underground techno, leading the way in electronic music and visual production. After frequent collaborations, they reunite for an LP planned for early 2023 under ENSOLAB.
Pyramid, the solo project of Rocio Fernández, merges production with sound design and project work. She contributes to Sevilla’s fashion podium and participates in the European Commission’s plans for a new city brand in Seville.
Based in Huelva, he has engaged in various cultural initiatives such as Laca Digital and PLOCC, and received recognition as Best Cultural Initiative of the decade by the X Anniversary Awards in Huelva. His work has appeared in private media such as Neo2 and DjMag, and on RTVE and Andalusian TV.
The latest full-length release, steam released in 2021, explores voices and emotions that shape life in an industrial, peripheral city. He currently releases under Faneca Music (Madrid).
Under the alias Luca Volkov, the performer is Lucas Robledo (1992), a singer, producer, DJ and visual artist. He experiments with the darker edges of sound, crafting repetitive patterns that pull listeners into a shadowy, expansive world. Born in Granada and raised in Huelva, he is a member of Colectivo NAN, presenting across diverse arts disciplines. His upcoming collaboration with Pirámida and Mupi from Huelva is slated for early 2023.
In the background, Mupi focuses on graphic design and visual art. He studied at the Art School of Seville and specialized in Motion Design in Barcelona. His work spans audiovisual campaigns and artistic experiments, contributing to Seville’s city branding and local cultural projects. His pieces have appeared on stages such as the Gran Teatro de Huelva and the Isabel La Católica Theater in Granada, released under labels Faneca Music and Toroide (Madrid). His restless, avant-garde approach has seen him collaborate with numerous artists across the Spanish scene, including Okkre, Alejandro Lévar, Teslaradio, Luca Vólkov and Pirámida from Huelva.
Alpha Decay
Alpha Decay is the live project of Ambre Laparra. A modular-synth driven set exploring loud electro-break rhythms with improvised textures.
Based in Barcelona, he began as a sound engineer after years on the road with touring crews across Europe and South America.
He has immersed himself in the modular DIY scene, building his own synthesis rig. He has performed at events like Modular Day Festival BCN, Dutch Modular Fest NL, OffLem Festival BCN, Phonos, El Pumarejo and Poortgeboouw Rotterdam. He has collaborated with acoustic players, scored dance performances, and in 2019 helped create Wave Game, an analog light, sound and dance system allowing waves to influence each other.
His latest release, floating somewhere on his sailboat, is Odisea Pirata, coming soon on Series Negras.

Yugen Kala, two young Vigo producers, grew up in a family with a music studio and a strong connection to analog gear. Their work pairs abstract sounds with a distinctive electronic edge.
The duo released Nothing Original in February 2020, a radical, dark yet entertaining record that blends a wide range of influences from cinema, literature and music. The 14 tracks showcase their craft and fearless approach.
Nothing Is Original received strong praise from Radio 3, Mondo Sonoro, Metal Magazine and other outlets, and was highlighted as one of the best experimental electronic albums of the year by several media sources.

Maguette Dieng is a DJ and cultural programmer from Barcelona, known for presenting diverse music on stage and on air. He DJs as mbodj at venues like Razzmatazz, Apolo and Laut, and appears at festivals such as Mutek, Sonar and Loom. He also hosts a biweekly show on Noods Radio, an online station based in Bristol.
He co-founded Jokkoo, a collective of six Barcelona-based artists in the African diaspora. Jokkoo hosts a monthly Dublab.es show featuring electronic and experimental African sounds from the diaspora and curates events and cycles such as Lorem Ipsum in Macba and Electronica at La Casa Encendida in April.
Maguette strives to shift perceptions of electronic and advanced music, fostering community and opportunities through sound.

Goals ENSO 2022 aim to promote audio-visual culture and experimental electronic music, push high-quality content in electronic music, science and the arts, and give visibility and support to artists whose work embraces experimentation, singularity and risk. The festival also highlights Alicante and its artistic and cultural fabric on the national map of music, art, science and technology.
