Russian actor Alexei Bardukov, widely recognized for his role in the TV series Saboteur, was released from the hospital after a hospitalization for botulism. A Telegram channel provides the latest update on his condition.

Medical staff kept him under close observation for eight days. While some symptoms persist, his breathing has stabilized and fever no longer accompanies his condition. The plan is for Bardukov to continue treatment on an outpatient basis, with ongoing oversight by an infectious disease specialist and a neurologist.

On June 19, Bardukov was admitted to a hospital with botulism symptoms. Reports indicate he contracted the illness at home after consuming prepared meals delivered to his residence. At that time, medical personnel assessed his condition as fair. Later updates suggested concerns about a possible microstroke, though the primary diagnosis remained botulism under investigation by doctors.

The actor is best known for his portrayal of intelligence officer and saboteur Leonid Filatov in Saboteur. His filmography also includes appearances in Nuremberg, Mosgaz, and the Dyatlov Pass project.

As part of the broader botulism cases reported by health authorities, hospital staff have been treating 218 individuals presenting botulism-like symptoms. Among these patients is a child, and a subset required assistance with artificial ventilation. A significant number, 151 people, have already been discharged to recover at home. These figures reflect ongoing surveillance and medical care across facilities, with efforts to manage cases and prevent further spread of illness.

Earlier statements from health officials noted that some patients had been moved off mechanical ventilation as their conditions improved, signaling positive progress in the wider clinical picture.
