Actress Lidia Velezhova described the title of Russia as a great award. He said this in an interview Tass.
Decree on the allocation of Velezhova’s relevant title on March 25 signed Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Velezhova said that such a news was very pleasant for any actor and that he was “amazed in a good sense of this word”. According to the artist, his mother learned about the new status.
Velezhova was born in 1966 in Kiev. He graduated from the Schukin Theater School in 1988 and immediately hit the community of Vakhtangov Theater. In 1984, actress first starred in the film “Birthday”. In total, Velezhova has more than 30 roles today. He took part in films such as “state border”, “wolf”, “connectors”, “Idiot”, “simple facts” and “sleep force”.
Velezhova also has the status of an honorable artist of the Republic of North Ossetia.
