Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner said in an interview with MSNBC that her friend died as a result of forest fires in the USA.

“I actually lost a friend who didn’t make it out in time. It’s very painful and I don’t think I need to talk about it yet,” Garner said.

The actor added that nearly a hundred of his friends lost their homes due to the fire. Garner admitted that she felt “almost guilty” about having all her belongings hidden. The actor began collaborating with the public organization World Central Kitchen, which provides food aid to victims of the tragedy.

On January 7, a wind-driven wildfire started in West Los Angeles. The fire engulfed three parts of the city (Eaton, Pacific Palisades and Hurst). US President Joe Biden described the fires in California as the most destructive fires in the state’s history.
