In an interview with socialbites.ca, the star of the series “Dashing” Gela Meskhi talked about her difficult childhood. He pointed out that, despite his parents’ best efforts while growing up, he could not completely escape crime.

“I can’t say I can do this [путь криминала] wander around I am Gorian, half Georgian and Russian. During the Abkhazian war, my mother and father migrated here, southwest of Moscow. And I was raised on the street, so there were all kinds of things; fights, showdowns. My parents were constantly worried about me, my mother cried, my father cried, and Gela moved on. “I grew up with the Olympic team, I worked with Greco-Roman wrestling, sambo, judo, boxing, table tennis and football,” the 38-year-old actor said.

He also described the 90s in Russia as a “difficult time” but urged the current generation to “recognize and appreciate” that period.

“It was a tough time back then, everyone was trying to survive and find money. Everyone was right for themselves; They wanted to eat and bring something to his wife and children. I’m glad this has passed and a new generation has arrived. But you need to know and appreciate what it is. “The male-athletes who came to the groups did so for a reason, but to survive and help their families,” Meskhi said, adding that some of his acquaintances were complicit in crime stories.
