Netflix has renewed Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for a second season, the publication reports Diversity.
The sequel will see Theo James reprise his role as aristocratic Eddie Horniman, with Kaya Scodelario returning to her role as the heiress to a drug empire. The rest of the cast will be revealed later.
The series will consist of eight episodes. Director Guy Ritchie will co-write future episodes with Matthew Reed. Filming will begin in 2025.
The first season of The Gentlemen premiered in March 2024. The story was about an aristocrat who inherits his father’s country estate and discovers that the property is part of a secret marijuana empire that many shady characters want to take from him.
The series is based on Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, which also stars Ray Winstone (The Departed, Black Widow) as Bobby Glass, a London professional criminal who builds an industrial marijuana empire.
