In a conversation with singer Masha Rasputina, he said: aif.ruthat the artist Philip Kirkorov stole the song from him.
According to Rasputina, Kirkorov “crashed” her song in the 90s. Songwriter Leonid Derbenev wrote a composition for the artist, but the singer recorded it and released it earlier. The artist stated that she was offended by Kirkorov for his action.
“Derbenev ran into him! Derbenev wrote a petition against him: “I forbid the artist Kirkorov to perform these works. I wrote for the artist Rasputina.” Yes,” the artist shared.
Rasputina explained Kirkorov’s act by his “enterprising nature.” According to the artist, she was able to establish relations with her colleague only after ten years. As a sign of truce, the singers sang Kai Metov’s composition “Tea Rose”.
“We met Philip in Turkey in 2002. We didn’t talk to him for 10 years because of a song. I called Kai Metov and said that Kirkorov and I met, that we have matured and become wiser. Why should we sharpen our hatred towards each other even more? We are already self-sufficient,” he said.
Previously Masha Rasputina replied that Pugachev “blocked her air.”
