The singer was angry in his conversation with Irakli Pirtskhalava (Iraqi) kp.ru Ban on entry to the Republic of Latvia.
Irakli announced that he will perform at Riga’s First Club on August 2. The artist described the situation as unpleasant as he cannot perform due to the ban. He thinks the Latvian government’s behavior is strange. The singer said that he does not speak or sing about politics, but he is still subject to sanctions.
“I was absolutely surprised! And this is your European freedom and tolerance? Why should we be tolerant only to LGBT people (the “LGBT International Social Movement” is considered extremist and terrorist and is banned in the Russian Federation)? And what about artists working in Russia, Georgia and other countries of the world? What are they afraid of, that is the main question. What can I call for: a revolution to overthrow the Latvian government? This is funny! – said Pirtshalava.
July 30 Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze reportedPirtskhalava was also included on the list of undesirable persons for the Republic of Latvia. The singer was banned from entering the country indefinitely. The decision was made in accordance with Article 61, Part 2 of the Latvian Immigration Act.
Previously Gazmanov described himself as the owner of all sanctions.
