The International Festival of Landscape Objects “Arkhstoyanie” will be held in the Nikola-Lenivets art park with the support of Tochka Bank from July 26 to 28, 2024. As the press service of the event told socialbites.ca, this year the festival is dedicated to the theme “We”.
“The communities formed around the art village, from volunteers to summer residents, from electronic music enthusiasts to electronic music fans, and their interactions will be the main research area of Archstoyaniya 2024. The festival area will be organized as an adventure quest, where each group with a special culture will find its place and communicate through art, architecture, music and theater,” the organizers promise.
The leading figures of the festival were the artist and founder of the art park Nikolai Polissky and the artist Andrei Syailev. Polissky will present the art object “Bath Forum” – a transparent bath-lecture hall assembled from hazel, linden and pine needles. Inside, guests will join the audience performance; outside, they will witness the performance against the backdrop of a heated steam room.
In his “Earth House” Syailev will build three objects at once to communicate with nature: Insecto Phalanster for observing bees, Bird Bell Tower for observing birds and Nature Theater for immersion in the silent world of plants.

The projects presented in Archstoyanie will allow you to get acquainted with the lifestyle of a hedonistic Volga resident, learn to draw metaphorical self-portraits, visit a labyrinthine city with snowy winds or a gallery built from banana boxes, scream, swim at night. Go through a theatrical training for liberation in the Ugra River or a master class on social dancing, or create your own collective action.
For the first time in Archstoyanie, camps will be set up, open to festival guests, as meeting places for communities united by a single purpose. The performative program “Archstoyaniya” consists of three performances by directors Sasha Nikitina, Asya Litvinova and Gabbilen Galychev.
The curator of Archstoyaniya was Anton Kochurkin, its producer was Yulia Bychkova, the producer of the music program was Ivan Polissky, the curator of cultural institutions and the camp program was Svetlana Zvyagina, the curator of the educational program was Maria Mkrtycheva.
