Yusupova worked as a screenwriter on the film “Mother-in-law” together with her husband, director Askar Uzabaev. According to Yusupova, she could not separate work and family relationships and will not repeat this experience anymore.

She says that during the premiere of Mother-in-Law, journalists asked her husband for movie ideas, but they ignored him.
“And the last girl says: “Saule, I have a question for you…”, I think they will finally ask something now and she says: “What is it like to live with a director?” “Just like in the movies!” I say. “I felt very unpleasant,” she admitted.
