In the second part of the family movie, the adventures of Ellie and her friends will continue to be told. This time, the characters will have to travel to a new Violet Land, where the heroes will fight the Flying Monkeys and face the dangerous sorceress Bastinda, played by Khodchenkova. Urfene Dzhus will be played by Dmitry Chebotarev, and the film will be directed by Igor Voloshin.
In the first film, Khodchenkova also played Bastinda, and Chebotarev played Juice. The actress noted that she did not recognize herself in make-up and stage costume. Evgeny Chumak became the Scarecrow, Arthur Vakha was reborn as the Cowardly Lion, Yuri Kolokolnikov played the Tin Man, and the role of the little girl Ellie went to 8-year-old Ekaterina Chervova.
