Samara Kirovsky District Court extended the detention period of singer Eduard Charlotte. This was reported by RIA News.
According to the publication, Charlotte will be detained in a pre-trial detention center until April 23.

Charlotte is suspected of having bipolar personality disorder, which can cause her to behave inappropriately. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the singer may be sent to compulsory treatment.
While she was abroad in 2023, Charlotte posted several provocative videos online; one of them shows him burning his Russian passport. In November 2023, the singer returned to the country and was detained. He later repented for his actions.
Currently, four criminal cases have been opened against Charlotte: she is accused of reviving Nazism, insulting the feelings of believers and damaging documents. On January 23, 2024, the prosecutor’s office requested an extension of the singer’s detention for two months.
