People’s Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko, in a conversation with socialbites.ca, admitted that it was difficult for him to give solo concerts, so he did not rule out his imminent departure from the stage. He noted that he has not given up performing at social concerts and corporate events yet.
“Yes probably, [скоро уйду со сцены]. It’s a little difficult for me to sing solo concerts, but there are quite a lot of offers for social concerts and corporate events. I choose the most interesting ones and the ones that I cannot give up out of necessity. The most important thing is that I work in the studio and write at least 15-20 new songs a year. At my age, you too can enjoy your career. The important thing is not to bore yourself or the audience! That’s what I’m trying to do. There are also a lot of interesting things besides creativity,” said Leshchenko.
