Musician and businessman Sergei Zhukov recently became a filmmaker – one of his company’s first projects was “Hands Up!” Production” series became the series “Crybaby”. The series, in which the singer’s 15-year-old daughter Nika Zhukova starred, was released in 2023 and was extended for the second season. “The second season is still being written, but we are already planning to shoot this summer. In short, the “Crybaby” group will end up in Moscow. New impressions, experiences, meetings and meeting new people await our heroes. New plot and love lines will emerge. The season will be full of new adventures for already beloved characters. And of course, the second season will bring even more great music,” Zhukov shared.
According to the plot of the TV series “Crybaby”, Masha’s (Nika Zhukova) family moves to her grandmother (Irina Rozanova) in the small town of Novomorsk due to financial difficulties. It is not easy for the main character to face the life of the provincial school after the elite gymnasium on Rublyovka. Her new classmates, led by school leader and singer Chris (Diana Enakaeva), are unhappy with the new girl and bully her. Masha brings together the musical group “Crybaby”, one of the members of which is Vanya Dmitrienko’s character Nikita. The girl’s parents were played by Roman Mayakin and Agata Muceniece.
