The trial of singer Philip Kirkorov against pop artist Lyubov Uspenskaya began in the Moscow Zamoskvoretsky Court. The singer’s lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky told socialbites.ca about this.

“On March 11, 2024, with the so-called ‘meeting’ in the Zamoskvoretsky court of the city of Moscow, the process of Kirkorov against Uspenskaya begins. “The interests of Philip Kirkorov will be represented (for several years and in different courts) by lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky,” said the human rights activist.

He also asked whether US citizen Lyubov Uspenskaya would come to the hearing or try to “hide behind the power of attorney.”

Philip Kirkorov requested Non-pecuniary damages in the amount of ten million rubles from Lyubov Uspenskaya and payment of legal costs after her interview with blogger Alena Zhigalova, in which the singer was called a “misogynist”. The case also involves Zen.Platform and the social network VKontakte, where the interview was published.

The multimillion-dollar lawsuit was filed Dec. 13, Dobrovinsky said. He clarified that there was no attempt at a pre-trial resolution of the dispute or any hint of a settlement agreement between the artists.

Banksy’s identity had previously been revealed. clarified due to a lawsuit filed by two collectors.
