Actor Alexander Voevodin became a victim of scammers. This was reported by iz.ru.

The attacker called Voevodin and introduced himself as an employee of a mobile operator. The man said that the artist urgently needed to change his SIM card. He also inquired about the actor’s bank accounts and installed the telecom operator’s app on his phone.

Later, Voevodin received a call from an officer purporting to be law enforcement. He then said that the player had fallen victim to scammers and needed to secure his accounts.

The artist then contacted the bank operator where his accounts were held. As it turned out, 250 thousand rubles were written off from Voevodin. A large number of unauthorized transactions, the exact amount of which is unknown, were also carried out due to access blocking.

After that Voevodin contacted the police. Law enforcement launched an investigation into the incident.
