Beijing Olympic silver medalist Sergei Ulegin called for the cancellation of singer Dora’s concert in Saratov. He wrote this on his VKontakte page.
“A bright young girl with pink hair comes in, talks about her job, and I’ve never heard or seen anything about her before. I decided to investigate whether a very talented artist was really doing something new in music. “We came across songs with names such as ‘Doradura’, ‘Daddy’, ‘Barbisize’ and others,” Ulegin wrote.
He stated that music is a matter of taste, but he did not want Dora to perform in Saratov. According to Ulegin, he found some links in which he read that the singer called on young people to “commit illegal acts” and criticized SVO.
The athlete believes that Dora’s music can negatively affect the minds of young people. Ulegin believes that it is necessary to give performances to patriotic artists who now give concerts on the front lines, “carrying the right principles and values u200bu200bfor the younger generation.”
