The exhibition was developed and implemented by the creative workshop of Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Konov “MuseumMedia”. For the exhibition, the halls of the pavilion were divided thematically into 13 sections corresponding to certain chapters of the novel or the author’s life.

Using multimedia technologies, curators “revived” the novel’s main characters and historical events.
“The great novel of Leo Tolstoy, which embodies many of the author’s philosophical and social views, deserves a separate pavilion and a separate exhibition in the main exhibition area of the country. The Tolstoy Museum was responsible for scientific and historical accuracy, while “MuseumMedia” was responsible for the artistic concept and its implementation,” says General Director of the State Museum LN Tolstoy Sergei Arhangelov.
