This year, Russia plans to start developing electronics for the production of aircraft unmanned aerial vehicles; Funds have already been allocated for this work. This was stated in an interview by Vasily Shpak, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. RIA News.
He noted that the necessary components have already been determined. Currently, they are being combined by class and application type to begin developing related electronics in the near future. This work will begin this year; developers don’t plan to wait until next year. The project is financed within the framework of the radio electronics development programme.
Shpak also explained that most of the components used in the production of aircraft drones are of general industrial nature and do not require a special approach.
Scientists previously from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology came with A method of completely destroying a drone if it hits the enemy. According to the researchers’ idea, flammable metal nanoparticles are introduced into UAV bodies.
Previously in Russia was created new drone suppression system.
