Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Yakutia Alexander Podgolov commented on the incident in which a large family with a disabled child was kicked out of the hall at a concert held in the House of Friendship of Peoples. In this respect reports SakhaDay edition.
A woman who had to leave the concert said that they were invited to the concert as a large family. The woman sat on the chairs together with young children and a group of disabled people, but, according to her, the workers asked them to vacate the chairs, and sitting on them were officials and a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. Among the guests of honor was Vice President Podgolov.
Podgolov said that he did not see his own guilt in what happened.
“Wait a minute, we didn’t kick anyone out. It was the People’s Friendship House workers who reserved a place for us in advance. The workers were not ready. Maybe chairs might have been brought. There was very little preparation here,” he said.
