The musician Vladimir Kapyrin, known in Moscow for his participation in the group “Hands Up”, died at the age of 36, his father Dmitry Kapyrin reported on his page on the VKontakte social network.
“My son Volodya Kapyrin is dead, or rather, he was brutally murdered in his home,” he wrote.
A TASS source had previously reported that there were no signs of violent death on the musician’s body.

In addition, money and the phone from Kapyrin’s apartment disappeared. The musician’s father, Dmitry Kapyrin, said that his son had a conflict with unknown persons who had been threatening him for some time before his death. In the forensic examination, it was stated that the cause of death was not assault, therefore the incident did not involve violence.
Concert director “Hands up!” Robert Pogosyan also confirmed Kapyrin’s death in an interview with RIA Novosti and stated that the musician has not worked in the band since 2019.
