Sergei Nikonenko recalled how Mikhalkov lived with him for almost a year 16:19

In a conversation with actor Sergei Nikonenko, he said: kp.ruAfter breaking up with his first wife, artist Anastasia Vertinskaya, director Nikita Mikhalkov several times asked her to spend the night.

As a result, according to Nikonenko, the demands turned into the fact that Mikhalkov lived with him for eight months. The artist noted that he often welcomes famous names to his home. He told how “happy” he was to sleep in Vasily Shukshin’s six-meter closet. The actor said that the director could not find a house for him at that time and he spent the night in train stations.

Nikonenko also stated that Leonid Filatov, Gena Matveev and Tatyana Sidorenko also visited his apartment.

“I’ll fry potatoes in a pan for them, but there’s no need to wash it, the guests cleaned it so clean,” the artist shared.

Anastasia Vertinskaya and Nikita Mikhalkov got married in 1966 and their son Stepan was born in this marriage. Three years later the marriage broke up. In 1973, he married director Tatyana Mikhalkova and from this marriage children Anna, Artem and Nadezhda were born.

According to Vertinskaya, she loved Mikhalkov but was fanatically obsessed with his acting career and even agreed to act as an extra.
