Director Svetlana Druzhinina drove away actress Anastasia Makeeva at the premiere of the film “Midshipmen 1787. The World”. This was reported by kp.ru.
According to the broadcast notes, the director was walking onto the red carpet when Makeeva suddenly ran towards him. He began to praise the director and wanted to hug him, but Druzhinina pushed the artist away. As a result, Makeeva left the road, waiting for her turn.
Even before that, the director admitted that his colleagues dissuaded him from working with actress Makeeva, noting her difficult character. According to Druzhina, initially the artist seemed to her “an ideal, quiet little lamb”, but later resentment accumulated against him.
The director noted that the star was constantly late for the shoot and once demanded additional payment for overtime:
“Then I went out and said loudly: “If Makeeva is late, then Boyarsky, who is on the same stage with her, pays Makeeva’s overtime.”
The first film, “Midshipmen 1787. Peace”, will be released on Russian screens on October 5, and the next film, “War”, will be released on November 16.
