Petr Urbanovichus, the finalist of the vocal show “Voice 60+”, admitted in an interview “Evening Moscow”that he would leave the project, but was dissuaded by his mentor Valery Leontiev.
According to Urbanovichus, the project was filmed during the pandemic. It was Leontiev himself who fell ill first, and then he too.
“This [болезнь] it did not affect my ties in the best way, and then I said to Valery Yakovlevich: “I probably will not participate anymore.” By that time, only I remained from the Leontiev team, and he told me not to do this in any case, ”the singer recalled.
The musician emphasized that as a result he reached the final of the show and shared third place with participant Andrei Mikhailov. Urbanovichus added that he does not regret participating in the competition. Prior to that, he worked in the theater, whose service became commonplace for him, and the competition helped him gain new emotions.
“Although I don’t like to prove something, to compete, it’s interesting to just take part in a competition. And strangely enough, I felt the support of those whose work often remained behind the scenes on the show: these are make-up artists, assistants. “They stopped me and said they supported me, they were worried,” he said.
