The series “Lyusya” with Kozlovsky and Asmus received the award of the Japanese festival

Russian drama series “Lyusya” starring Danila Kozlovsky and Christina Asmus received a special mention by the jury at the Tokyo International Short Film Festival, the press service of the Premier online platform reported.

The series featured an international program alongside films that “explore the human condition and focus on the problems we all face on a daily basis.” The Happy End series had previously received the award of this festival.

Kozlovsky’s hero is the programmer Senya, who tried to be a good husband and father, but lost his understanding in the family. A smart speaker becomes a starting point for him to share his problems, experiences and thoughts. Over time, under the influence of the gadget, Senya changes his social status and circle, but suddenly realizes that he has lost something important.

The new eight-part project “Lyusya” will be released in Premier online cinema in summer 2022. The scriptwriter and creative producer of the series is Ivan I. Tverdovsky (“Zoology”, “Correction Class”, etc. ). The series also starred Daria Savelyeva, Ivan Makarevich, Maxim Vitorgan, Grigory Vernik, Jan Tsapnik, Anna Slyu and others.
