The TV presenter noted that she was at the opening of a television broadcasting point in Australia when her father’s condition worsened. But Malakhov then decided to urgently fly to Moscow, and from there to Murmansk. According to the TV presenter, he was already in a coma when he was able to come to his father. Nikolai Malakhov died in 2006.

“I remember my father’s departure. Priest, hospital. We began to pray, and at that moment it became clear that the curve stopped. These are such feelings … Then you live with it for a long time. It is difficult and difficult for a child to understand that communication and part of life are over, ”said Malakhov.

Now the TV presenter herself is a father – she is raising her son Alexander, who was born in 2017 in marriage with Natalya Shkuleva. Also, Malakhov became the godfather for the children of Philip Kirkorov – Alla Victoria and Martin.
