Mark Varshaver, Director of the Lenkom Theatre, said: TASSDirector Gleb Panfilov, who was hospitalized on May 11 with paralysis and pneumonia, felt “a little better.”

The artist suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and was taken to the intensive care unit of the Odintsovo regional hospital. Later he was transferred to another Moscow hospital. It was reported that he was diagnosed with hemorrhagic cerebral infarction, and his condition was complicated by pneumonia and thrombocytosis. Doctors seriously evaluated the condition of Panfilov.
