Actor and director Alexander Nevsky announced the final episode of his western trilogy The Last Heroes of Rio Bravo on his Twitter account.
“I’m excited to announce my next Hollywood project, western adventure The Last Heroes of Rio Bravo! It will be directed by Joe Cornet and written by Craig Hamann. Nevsky will be the final installment in a trilogy that includes the films “Attack on Rio Bravo” and “Lost in Rio Bravo.”
The plot of the final episode tells how, in 1873, a small town in Texas began to be terrorized by a gang of bloodthirsty killers called the Hellhounds. An immigrant tries to protect civilians from attacks, as Ivan Turchaninov (Nevsky), colonel of the Russian Empire’s Life Guards, as well as the local sheriff and marshal of the region.
Previously Attack on Rio Bravo will reportedly hit theaters on March 31 in Russia.
