The Big Crystal Nail award ceremony has ended. This is the annual Moscow award of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia (STD). In 2022 “the highlight of the season” Yuri Butusov received the production of “The Son”, reports TASS.
The ceremony in the Theater Center “On Strastnoy” was opened by the First Deputy Head of the STD, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Evgeny Steblov.
Award-winning performances were awarded “Little Crystal Nails”. They were chosen by an expert council. This is Sergei Gazarov’s play “Molière, avec amour” at the Moscow Oleg Tabakov Theater, performances of “Mozart” by Don Giovanni. Dress rehearsal” (Moscow Theater “PN Fomenko Workshop”, director Dmitry Krymov) and “Richard III” (State Academic Theater named after Mossovet, director Nina Chusova).

As part of the Grand Tour program, the theater will present four performances to the audience. On May 2, the actors will perform with “Kalina Krasnaya” based on Vasily Shukshin. For the Volkovsky Theater, which has visited many foreign countries, this is the first tour in Abkhazia.
