According to Variety, Bond star Daniel Craig took part in a media project to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

The British actor recorded a 1.5-minute call for help to the victims of the tragedy. Craig’s message was broadcast on 29 UK television networks, including Warner Bros., on the evening of February 24. Discovery, Channel 4, ITV, UKTV, Channel 5 and Sky.

The project was initiated by the Emergency Situations Committee. The video was also broadcast simultaneously on widescreen digital screens in major UK cities such as London, Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester.

While the video shows the devastation wrought by the earthquake, it also talks about the victims of the tragedy, whose numbers exceeded 30,000. In addition, the ad explains how viewers can participate and financially support the charity project.
