In the early 2000s, the popular singer Nikita, who is considered the main rival of Dmitry Bilan, spoke for the first time about the reasons for his unsuccessful career.
The performer of the hit “Flew Forever” was a guest on the “Nedud” program on “New Radio”. During the conversation, the singer revealed the details of working with music producer Yuri Aizenshpis, who also glorified Dmitry Bilan.
According to Nikita, whose real name is Alexei Fokin, the reason for their creative failure was the conflict with Aizenshpis, which arose as a result of mutual misunderstanding.
“For three and a half years I eerily wrote myself and asked Yuri Shmilevich to buy me a song. But she refused: “What are you doing! This is very expensive”. I replied: “You make a lot of money from me! are you expensive?” I was offended by him. In vain, of course. He said that we should break up, I need the full turn of the producer, ”the singer recalled.
Fomin also suggests that in the future it was Aizenshpis who had a hand in making Nikita’s songs disappear from the radio and the artist himself disappearing from the media space.
“I just have my doubts. Most likely, Aizenshpis put some obstacles, as he had to introduce Dima Bilan. And at that time we were very similar visually and musically, ”Fomin summed up.
