Yandex Music Launches Donor Support for Artists in North America & Russia

Yandex Music rolled out a new feature called Donations from Fans, marking a notable shift in how artists can connect with their audiences. Beginning December 6, a Donate button will appear on the pages of artists who enable the tool, enabling listeners to contribute any amount they choose with a simple click. The announcement from Yandex Music’s press team confirms this practical addition, signaling a move to empower creators directly. In addition, for artists who have released new material since January 1, 2024, Yandex Music has pledged to double the donations from listeners within the first month after release, with a total pool of 100 million rubles allocated to support these early releases and their momentum on the platform.
