On Wildberry, symbols linked to the Russian private military company Wagner reappeared on sale, according to DEA News. The range of items available for purchase included ribbons, flags, decals, and a variety of other branded paraphernalia. On Saturday, June 24, the marketplace announced that items bearing PMC insignia had been removed from listings, following rising scrutiny and regulatory pressure.

Elsewhere, other online marketplaces have not yet resumed offering Wagner symbols. In many cases these products remain out of sight in retailers’ storefronts, reportedly due to user complaints and tighter monitoring. When attempting to locate these items on the Yandex Market platform, users frequently encounter an error message, suggesting ongoing restrictions or technical blocks.

Vasily Golubev, the former governor of Rostov Region, indicated that a convoy carrying equipment and personnel affiliated with Wagner departed Rostov-on-Don. This development fed into a broader narrative about Wagner’s movements and the organization’s operational footprint within the country, as reported by regional authorities and observers.

On the evening of June 23, Wagner’s leader Yevgeny Prigozhin asserted that Russian Defense Ministry forces had attacked the private military company’s rear camps. He claimed his fighters were advancing toward Moscow in what he described as a march for justice. The defense ministry rejected these accusations, while the Prosecutor General’s Office later filed a lawsuit against Prigozhin for organizing an armed riot, highlighting the seriousness of the confrontation and the legal implications at stake.

By the morning of June 24, Wagner forces had reportedly sealed administrative buildings in Rostov-on-Don, and President Vladimir Putin began to move toward Moscow. The president publicly criticized Prigozhin, calling the actions of the PMC a betrayal and warning the group’s leadership about the consequences. The State Duma, the Federation Council, and several regional leaders voiced support for decisive measures in response to the situation. In parallel, Chechen forces associated with Akhmat were deployed to Rostov to reinforce security and stabilize the area during the evolving events.

Later that evening, a Belarusian presidential press service explained that discussions between Alexander Lukashenko and Prigozhin had taken place. The participants reportedly reached an agreement aimed at resolving the crisis with assurances for the safety of Wagner fighters. In a subsequent statement, Prigozhin described his decision to pull back his columns and return the forces to their field camps, signaling a potential de-escalation and a path toward a negotiated settlement, subject to verification and political considerations at the national level.
