According to the deputy prime minister, the signing activity reached a record level, with agreements totaling 3 trillion 255 billion rubles. He noted that the forum generated momentum across multiple sectors, helping to map out concrete actions for the near term and ensuring that these decisions would be transmitted to the president for consideration.

Trutnev added that decisions were developed in all 90 priority areas identified for the Far East. He indicated that a substantial portion of these decisions received broad support and were moving toward implementation, reflecting a shared commitment among regional leaders, businesses, and federal authorities.

The forum in 2022 was scheduled from September 5 to 8 and took place in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The event continued to attract significant attention as a platform for strategic discussions, investment commitments, and international collaboration aimed at expanding regional integration and economic diversification.

As in previous years, a diverse roster of participants from 68 countries attended the Eastern Economic Forum, including a mix of European nations, the United States, and Japan. This international presence underscored the forum’s role as a key arena for dialogue, partnership, and opportunities relating to the development of the Far East and broader regional integration.
