The company reported that Kazakh oil is now being moved toward Poland with the aim of supplying German refineries. According to the spokesman, the pipeline movement began with shipments heading to Adamowo-Zastawa, a route that channels crude toward Polish facilities. This marks a return to corridor operations that had paused earlier in the year, during a period when the company reviewed route assignments and price arrangements for paid transit.
The official explained that at the end of February the planned flow toward Polish processing plants was not activated as anticipated, because orders for paid routes were not placed. This pause followed prior announcements about continuing shipments in the January timeframe, when Poland was reported to be purchasing Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline network.
In January, Transneft stated that the Druzhba system carried a substantial volume of oil to Poland, with approximately 500,000 tons redirected via this route. The plan to supply Polish refineries from Russian and Kazakh sources illustrates the ongoing complexity of cross-border oil transport agreements and the balancing act between supply commitments, transit fees, and market demand.
