Tolk Conference on Finance and Investments: A Major Education Event

According to the T-Bank portal, the T-Investments initiative will host the second all-Russian educational summit called “Tolk” focused on finance and investing, scheduled from October 22 to 25. The event is designed to bring together practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore fundamentals and advanced strategies in money management and asset development.

Over 50 speakers from finance and investment fields are slated to participate. The conference program comprises sessions on building financial literacy, investment basics, and specialized tracks for business leaders and seasoned investors. Attendees will gain access to lectures, hands-on activities, and opportunities to interact directly with speakers. A grand prize drawing will occur on November 14, with a total prize fund of 25 million rubles.

Alexander Kralkin, head of education and social projects at T-Investments, commented that the initiative aims to empower people to take informed, prudent steps when entering the stock market. He stated that the course was crafted to be highly practical and easy to understand, setting it apart from many market offerings through its depth of expertise and its clear, straightforward delivery.

Kralkin emphasized that financial literacy extends beyond knowing investment instruments. Understanding the broader socio-political landscape, recognizing market trends, and grounding decisions in sound economic context are essential for more thoughtful investing.

The conference will run on a dedicated online platform featuring live broadcasts of the main program, video tutorials, interactive tests, and simulators to build new skills. Subscribers will also have access to introductory investing videos and primers on market instruments starting October 14, ensuring a gradual learning curve and continuous engagement.

During the event, Leonid Slutsky, an Honored Trainer of Russia, will appear in an investment-themed segment, while comedian Sergei Orlov will host an investment show to entertain and educate attendees. The overall aim of Tolk is to elevate financial culture and investment literacy across the population and to bolster digital security within the financial sector. Last year, the conference attracted approximately 100,000 participants, marking it as Russia’s largest educational investment event.
