Additionally, the government approved measures to support Russian companies in developing domestic pharmaceuticals and their analogues, especially those that currently face patent protections abroad. By strengthening local drug development and production, Moscow aims to reduce vulnerability to external patent regimes and ensure steady access to essential medicines for its population.
